	What is iShopd?

	iShopd.com is a service that lets you tell the world what you have shopped in the recent past or what you wish to shop. The prime advantage of doing this would be to let your network know of your recent shopping activity so they can get back to you with reviews, suggestions, deals and you can find other members with similar tastes as yours. The iShopd online experience is based on the new fad known as social shopping, wherein the physical shopping experience, like shopping in groups, getting opinions and feedback from acquaintances, finding for the best deals etc is replicated in the online space. iShopd.com aims to be the coolest way to shop known to mankind (and womankind, ofcourse)!
	How does iShopd work?

	Once you join the iShopd community, you can start building your social shopping network, by inviting your friends to be a part of the community, and by adding friends from the iShopd network who share similar shopping interests as yours. You can share your shopping & wish lists with the world, take opinions and feedback from other members who have similar shopping habits, browse hot new offers, write reviews, advice people and do much more. iShopd.com strongly focuses on consumer desire and the site has been made very user-friendly and intuitive. We are a Web 2.0 site in the true sense of the word, and strongly believe in our offering.
	Does iShopd sell products?

	iShopd.com does not sell products currently. We are in the process of building a thriving online community of active shoppers, and since we are in Beta phase currently, we will gather as much feedback as possible during the beta phase, and develop our ecommerce / online shopping section which appeals to our members the most.
	How can I add friends on iShopd?

	You can add existing members of iShopd as your friends easily by clicking on the Add as Friend option next to the member profile thumbnail wherever available on the site. You can also grow your network by sending email invitations to your email contacts through the Invite your friends link. This service will allow you to sign in to your email provider (gmail, hotmail, yahoo, aol etc) and a one-time email will be sent to your contacts inviting them to join the iShopd community. Your email address and password will not be misused or stored under any circumstances.

	How do I register on iShopd?

	Dear visitor, you can browse through iShopd.com without registering, but to do any action on the site, such as writing a review, rating a product, adding a member as a friend, creating your list etc, you would be required to sign in to your account. Hence it is advisable to register on iShopd.com for a hassle-free experience. You can find the Join In button on the global navigation menu, and once you enter your email address, we will send you a verification mail. You are requested to click on the link sent in the email, after which you can choose your screen name and password, and complete the registration process.
	How do I change my email address and password?

	The user cannot change the email address. This is because the email address identifies the member uniquely. If a member wishes to change their email address, then they are advised to register with the new email address and email us at friends@iShopd.com to remove their existing account / email address.
	How do I change my screen name?

	The registered members on iShopd can change / edit their screen names whenever they want. Members are advised to visit their My Account page, and go to the link that says modify your profile. Here you can edit your profile, which includes changing the screen name as well. However, please note that the screen name is unique to each member, and your new screen name should also be unique. The old screen name becomes available for use by other members who wish to use that particular screen name.
	Does iShopd share users' email addresses with anyone else?

	iShopd is a completely secure site, and your email address will not be shared with anyone, unless you are giving us explicit permission to do so. One of the guiding principles of iShopd is to create a completely secure, honest and transparent service, which allows our visitors to enjoy their online shopping experience without any heartburn. We are committed to respect your privacy completely.
	How do I cancel my account?

	You can send an email to friends@iShopd.com to cancel your account with iShopd.com

	Is there a limit to the number of lists I can have?

	No there is no limit to the number of lists you can create. You can create a list for every topic, mood or interest. The shopping list you create lets people know what you already own, while the wish list makes your network aware of what's on your mind.
	What types of lists can I create?

	Wish List: This list is for items you wish to buy in the near future. Shopping List: Use this list to collate items you've already purchased.
	What are the actions I can do with a particular product?

	You can do the following activities for each product you find on iShopd: Rate the product: The rating mechanism is a very simple 5-star rating system, and each product displays the collective rating it has got from the community Add to Wish List: You can add any product to your wish list, in case you come across a product which you really want to buy, while you're browsing through the website Add to Shopping List: You can add any product to your list of items which you already own. This will help you connect with other members who share similar products as you. Write a review: You can write a short 140 character review of any product. We do not expect our members to write detailed reviews, and we have kept the approach simple. Your review can even be something like "I really love the way my Swift diesel takes off, and it has an awesome mileage too!"
